Very clean and healthy food. Owners are extremely friendly and are the wait staff. I hate that I have to pay $2.00 for the whole grain brown rice. For a table of four, that was an extra 8 dollars; at whole sale prices that would buy about 5 pounds which is about 48 servings, 16 cents per serving. For this reason we do not go there very often.

This is one of our favorite lunch places @ work. It's really close to us and the food is always good. Mild or XXXXXX Spicy (yes, some of my coworkers like it that hot) they get it right. Big variety of lunch and dinner specials, big portions, chicken, beef, tofu... you choose. Usually we just call for pickup and we never have to wait when we get there. Today, I had the sit-down @ the restaurant experience. We went for dinner. Immediately we were sitting at our table, offered drinks... server waited enough time between that and asking for our order, so by the time he asked we knew what we wanted instead of asking for "a couple more minutes". Food didn't take long. I had the Chicken Pad Thai mild (I know, safe choice but I like it). It comes with Chicken Noodle Soup, Salad, and Ice Cream for dessert - your choice of Pistachio, Chocolate or Orange Sorbet. I had the Orange Sorbet, and even though I'm not an Ice Cream fan (I have to crave it to have it) must say it was a good ending to our meal.

Tucked into the corner of the Compusa Plaza on the corner of Military and Hillsboro is a true delight for Thai food. Unpretentious food at great prices, Thai Delight never fails to please. A comfortable environment is offered by the warm and gracious owners who are always there to ensure everyone leaves happy and full. Our favorites are the Masaman curry with pork (get it as hot as you can stand) along with the various ways they cook crispy duck (ginger and basil are our two favs). But to start off, ask for the chicken soup with noodles. Not your ordinary fair... a simple, warm, savory soup that is a delight to enjoy! When you are not feeling well, order a quart or two to take home... the best medicine! Finish off the night with the fried bananas and your evening is complete. There are fancier places but none friendlier or tastier. We can't speak highly enough of the expierence. Worth the trip from anywhere!

I moved to Boca Raton recently and went to two other Thai restaurants and did not review them because they didn't even elicit one, At Thai Delight the cleanliness, friendliness and attention to detail was a true joy. Even the bathroom was spotless! We had stuffed shrimp appetizer, papaya salad, and stir fried oysters. For entrees my bf had shrimp pad see ew, while I had stir fried basil with squid...absolutely perfect for both of us! YUM! We finished by having fried bananas for dessert. The best I've tasted! Sweet, crispy and plentiful. Visit your taste buds will thank you!!

I've been here twice now, and both experiences were about the same. Decent food, but certainly not the best of ever had. One thing I did notice that they sweeten their soup. The broth is very sweet, and In my opinion, this is a cheap trick restaurants use to get you to enjoy their food. There is no reason to add sugar to soup! Their lunch dishes are good, but again, not over-the-top. The staff is attentive, and keep your drinks filled.

I came here with a friend for lunch and ordered the spicy veggie pad thai with a salad. The salad came with peanut dressing that wasnt very good so I didn't eat that. Then the pad thai came and it was very watery and tasted like spicy tomato sauce.

My best friend introduced me to this place, and we go there every single chance we get! I must say BEST THAI FOOD IN SOUTH FLORIDA!! This place is your typical mom and pop joint where the food is fresh, abundant, reasonably priced with excellent costumer service... The place is casual and VERY clean. Our waiter (wish I could remember his name) always makes sure we are taken care of at all times. Definitely worth driving there from Miami every time I can. Updating my last 4 star review. Prices increased a little and I'm okay with that. But they removed the free spring roll from the lunch specials, which if you want you now have to buy in 3's. Also, they now charge for hot tea. If you want to raise prices, I get that and I'm okay with a slight increase but don't raise prices and remove items. And hot tea is usually free at all Asian restaurants. It's like going to a Chinese food restaurant and being charged for a fortune cookie. The shrimp is also smaller. Maybe a diff provider but puny and tasted like your typical frozen shrimp. Everything else has remained the same but those small changes are enough to warrant an update a star removal.

This place just doesn't cut it. Three of us dined here tonight and 1 of us thought it was average and two didn't like their meals. Carpet was dingy. Remodeling is hopefully in the cards. Service was good and friendly, but that was the only redeeming quality. Random thoughts: The rice dish was overloaded with fish sauce. We ate it because we were starving. The chicken curry dish only came with chicken and bamboo shoots. No veggies, nada. Spicy chicken noodle dish was tasty but too sweet and the only veggies in it were onions and bamboo shoots. The standard red, green & other curry dishes here are $16 for beef or chicken, $19 for shrimp. You want brown rice? $2 extra per person. Hot tea? Extra. Salad with your entree? $6 extra for a green salad. Thai Delight is priced for perfection, but you won't find anything close to that here. No second chances for me.

I ordered chicken pad thai to go. When I got home I opened the container and it looked like pad thai but a little darker/more red. I took a bite and it tasted like tomato soup more than pad thai. I have never had pad thai that tasted like tomatos. I don't know if it's some variant in Thailand? Maybe they gave me someone else's order accidently. Either way I do not plan on returning.

very clean and light food . That's part of my problem with them. They don't stir fry, they steam and add a watery sauce. I like sauces that stick to the veggies not soupy sauces. Most dishes have very few veggies. If you ask for anything to be changed, they can't do it. Brown rice is $2 per person, really....why? I like the owners but only go a few times a year when I'm looking for a very light meal.

What a gem! Walked right in at lunch and not only was it busy, but it wasn't packed and noisy. I was promptly greeted and server very quickly. The quality of the food was A++. I have been to Thailand many times and could tell this was authentic...not some knock-off. They have the best Thai food in town. They are very friendly there and very accommodating. Your food is always very hot when it comes out and it always tastes delicious. The portions they serve you are very big and if you go before 6 o'clock they give you free soup or salad and hot tea with your meal. First of all i want to thank the owner and the people working in this restaurant. I rate them 5 not just for the food they serve but also for the hospitality the staff showed. We entered the restaurant 5 mins past 10 pm on Jan 1st when most of the restaurants were either closed or served food till 9pm. They greeted us very well and willingly offered a sumptuous meal. We ordered NamSod, TomYumGai, Spicy Noodles and Veg Thai Red Curry and all the dishes were equally flavorful and spiced well to suit our pallet. I would recommend this restaurant and will surely visit again.

Best lunch place around. This place is what made me fall in love with Thai food. I seriously ate there 3 times a week when I worked near by, and now that I don't I still drop by for lunch occasionally. The lunch specials are great, I sometimes order two and bring one home for the next day! The beef or shrimp fried rice is to die for, and the curry dishes are authentic and delicious. The serving is large so you always have left overs, which taste even better the next day! The spring roll you get with lunch is a bite of true happiness. Yum! The soup is also good, but you only get it when you dine in! The wait staff has always been friendly and quick. This is one of the better Thai restaurants in this area. Not one of the local Sushi Thai places that still seems to me to be a strange combination. I guess its kind of like the Asian version of Tex-Mex. Small, quaint, and the employees are very nice and attentive. Of the extensive items on the menu, I think my favorites are the chicken / shrimp dumplings and the Masaman Curry Chicken. Hope you enjoy it!

This restaurant is family run and is absolutely fantastic! My family and I come for all special occasions. Have tried and enjoyed many items on the menu, but the beef pad Thai is my favorite! Fried bananas for dessert...yes please!

This is one of the better Thai restaurants in this area. Not one of the local Sushi Thai places that still seems to me to be a strange combination. I guess its kind of like the Asian version of Tex-Mex. Small, quaint, and the employees are very nice and attentive. Of the extensive items on the menu, I think my favorites are the chicken / shrimp dumplings and the Masaman Curry Chicken. Hope you enjoy it!
